The “Friends of CineMatsuri” program showcases partnerships between CineMatsuri and other film-related events happening in the Greater Washington DC area. Friends of CineMatsuri include film festivals, screenings, talks, and programs that share the Japan-America Society of Washington DC’s mission – to promote friendship and understanding between Americans and Japanese. By partnering with local organizations and endeavors, we hope to spread Japanese culture through cinematic art even further throughout the Nation’s Capital.
